IOS boardroom unveiled at Scottish Week Cup game

A leading North-east storage and inspection firm was delighted to unveil the IOS boardroom during the kick-off of Peterhead Scottish Week on Saturday (19 July).

Independent Oilfield Services (IOS), which was established in 2014 and has a tubular supply base in Peterhead, unveiled the sponsorship of Peterhead FC’s boardroom, which was officially named at Balmoor Stadium ahead of the Scottish Week cup game against Aberdeen.

Glynn Geddie, business development manager at IOS, said: “We are delighted to sponsor such an ambitious Scottish football team as Peterhead FC. Being promoted to the first division is a huge achievement for the club and we wish them all the best for the season."

IOS has drawn upon 20 years experience in Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and drill pipe inspection to offer storage, handling, inspection, refurbishment and management of oilfield equipment and tubulars.

The firm’s 80-acre tubular supply base is located only four miles from Peterhead Port and is a one-stop shop for casing, tubing and drillpipe.

IOS is offering its support to the local community, as it is open to providing further sponsorship opportunities to local clubs and groups, demonstrating its active community involvement in Peterhead and the surrounding areas.
